Ward Services

St. Clair Medical Centre is made up of four wards including the Intensive Care Unit and a maternity/gynaecology ward.

Surgical Ward

Surgical Ward is located on the ground floor, where patients would be warded if they are to have a surgical procedure or are recovering after having a surgical procedure.

The Medical Ward

The Medical Ward is located on the first floor where patients who require acute care are warded.  The ward is staffed with both registered nurses and nursing assistants to care for the patients.

Our nurses will provide for all patients’ needs whilst hospitalized. They will assist with hygiene, provide physical and emotional support, administer medication, explain any procedures a patient is having and advise a patient on how to care for themselves upon returning home.
