Ward Services

St. Clair Medical Centre is made up of four wards including the Intensive Care Unit and a nursery.
Surgical Ward
Surgical Ward is located on the ground floor, where patients would be warded if they are to have a surgical procedure or is recovering after having a surgical procedure.
Maternity Ward
Having a baby is miraculous. Our Maternity services emphasize family centered care and our nursing staff actively supports each couple.
Upon delivery, nurses begin to integrate the new family unit through early bonding, rooming-in and liberal visiting hours.
The new mother will be guided by our devoted midwives and nurses on the basics to care for a newborn.
The Maternity ward also houses the hospital nursery which contains an incubator for premature babies and the basinets for newborns.
Medical Ward
The Medical Ward is located on the first floor where patients who require acute care are warded. The ward is staffed with both registered nurses and nursing assistants to care for the patients.
Our nurses will provide for all patients’ needs whilst hospitalized. They will assist with hygiene, provide physical and emotional support, administer medication, explain any procedures a patient is having and advise a patient on how to care for themselves upon returning home.
