Caribbean Heart Care’s Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory facility at the St. Clair Medical Centre is staffed with experienced physicians, equipped with first-rate facilities and state of the art medical equipment to make you well.
The lab has the most advanced catheterization and digital angiography equipment in the Caribbean. Our staff is made up of cardiologists, a neurosurgeon, vascular surgeon and intensivist. Services offered include:
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitory
- Holter Monitoring
- Exercise Stress Test
- Angiogram
- Angioplasty
- Neuroradiological Procedures
- Brain and Aortic Stenting
- Atrial Septal Defect
- Pace Maker Insertion
- Echocardiogram (ECHO)
The St. Clair Medical Centre offers a range of cardiac testing services.
- ECG, evaluation of chest pain.
- A fully computerized stress testing facility is also available. Echocardiography is available utilizing the latest technology. We are also capable of performing transesophaegeal echocardiograph, which is important in the evaluation of patients with strokes, heart valve infections and diseases of the aorta.
- Emergency cardiac evaluation, and emergency treatment of heart attack with clot dissolving agent (thrombolytic therapy), these services are available 24 hours a day.
Note: Stress test and echocardiograms require referral letters and may be scheduled by telephoning the Centre. Services are supervised and reported by the qualified cardiologists.
